“80 Roses” – Memorial Concerts in Four Swiss Cities in 2025

80 years after Auschwitz – a musical commemoration and celebration of life

In September 2025, 80 Roses travels across Switzerland—a hauntingly beautiful, cross-cultural concert series commemorating the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz.

Across four unique venues, six concerts will unite the voices of Roma, Sinti, Jewish, and Yenish cultures—through music, song, and poetry. The «80 Roses» ensemble, a multicultural group formed exclusively for this project, brings these legacies to life with vitality, reverence, and grace.

Most concerts take place in historic cloisters, creating a unique atmosphere of joy, reflection, and hope. And each is thoughtfully curated for its setting and enriched with a selection of literary texts.

«80 Roses» opens a space for joy, inclusion, and shared remembrance—guided by an artistic narrative that touches the heart, connects cultures, and inspires hope.

“We live on—and we celebrate together!”
With this message, «80 Roses» welcomes audiences into a musical experience that honors the past while embracing the present—fostering reconciliation, joy, participation, and inclusion.
